Pro-Rata Tax
Pro-rata Tax shall be charged on the total market value of the prize awarded at every prize competition held within the Western Province calculate in the following manner.
Total Value of the prize Pro-Rata Tax
1. Less than Rs. 100000/- execemted
2. A Pro-Rata Tax shall be charge on the
total market value of the prizes 20%
Any persion who intends to promote or conduct a prize competition within the province shall obtained a licence for purpose interms of provicence in this statute 14 days before the anouncement of the competition.
